His stories and essays have been anthologized by McSweeney’s, and have appeared in places like Maisonneuve, The Walrus, The Millions, and more. Young was also the second-place winner in CNQ’s inaugural CanLitCrit Essay Contest for his essay, We are Men, and We are Terrified of Ourselves or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Russell Smith
